Digital Chloridometer
The Digital Chloridometer is a coulometric titrator designed to determine chloride ion concentrations in clinical samples such as sweat, urine, serum and biological extracts. It may also be used to measure the chloride and sodium chloride content of foods, beverages, industrial materials, waste water and other environmental samples.
Referenced in the NCCLS Sweat Testing Method C34A and used in the diagnosis of cystic fibrosis, the Digital Chloridometer provides quantitative determination of chloride ion content. Total titration time is less than 20 seconds for sample concentrations of 100 milliequivalents per liter (mEq/L). A three digit display is provided for most routine applications and a fourth digit may be used when greater accuracy is required.

It may also be used to measure the chloride and sodium chloride content of foods, beverages, industrial materials, waste water and other environmental samples. Micro samples of 0.1 ml or less of serum, sweat and tissue extracts require no prior processing or precipitation of protein before titration. Total titration time is less than 20 seconds for sample concentrations of 100 milliequivalents per liter mEq/L. For 115 volt, 60 Hz use.
