Class I Biological Safety Enclosures
Purifier Class I and HEPA-Filtered Safety Enclosures protect you and your laboratory environment. They offer an economical alternative to Class II laminar flow cabinets when your applications do not require product protection. These benchtop enclosures are suitable for work with agents that require Biosafety Level 1, 2 or 3 containment but not product protection.
Other uses include handling suspicious mail, weighing chemical powders and particulates and containing procedures that generate fine dusts or aerosols. When connected to the accessory Exhaust Connection Kit and ducted outside to a remote blower, they may also be used with fume- or odor-generating materials or agents that have been treated with toxic chemicals or radionuclides when required as an adjunct to microbiological research.
