Digestion Systems for 6-40 test tubes

The Digestion Systems are designed for simultaneous batch digestion of 6 or 20 samples of 250 ml test tubes. For 100 ml test tubes digestors can take 12 or 40 samples.

The Digestion System, used in combination with the Lift System 2015 and the Controller 2000, is designed for fully unattended operation. Built-in precision temperature control and fully automated digestion ensure highly reproducible results and reduce costs. Savings are also gained from minimal use of reagents. Efficient fume removal during distillation improves the working environment. All Digestors are delivered with the parts necessary to start the analysis.

Components of the digestion system include:

Bench Top Scrubber 2001

Neutralizes exhaust gas emissions

The Bench Top Scrubber 2001 Unit is used in conjunction with the digestion step of Kjeldahl analysis to neutralize the acid vapour of exhaust gases. It therefore contributes to a safer working environment.

The unit allows up to 100 Kjeldahl digestions without the need to replace the neutralizing solution.

The Scrubber can be automatic operated in combination with the Controller 2000.

The closed system avoids the need to discharge waste into municipal drains, and costs are saved through not requiring mains water supply.

Exhaust Manifolds

Fume Removal System

The Exhaust Manifold captures the unpleasant and corrosive fumes and enables operation without a fume cupboard but it is recommended for extra safety.

The Manifolds can be connected to either a cold water tap or to a Scrubber unit.

Controller 2000

Fully unattended operation

The Controller 2000 is programmable in nine temperature and time steps. Enables Digestor, Lift and Scrubber or Flow Regulator to operate automatically.

Lift System 2015

The Lift System 2015 enables a highly automated digestion procedure that eliminates the heavy and risky manual handling of hot and aggressive chemicals. This, along with an automatic exhaust system, greatly improves operational safety. Unattended operation and the unit's ease of use reduce staff demands and increase sample throughput.

The programmable operation time of the Lift System - up to 99 hours -increases application versatility.
